Supply Pallet Kasseler Querungsbord®
One System that Covers all Eventualities
After orientation and mobility training, blind and visually impaired people are quite capable of finding their way through road traffic. Other people restricted in their mobility can also forgo outside help if the appropriate conditions are created for them.
At road crossings in particular, where the pedestrian or the wheelchair user must enter the hazard zone directly, it is especially important to create a functioning guidance system for mobility-restricted people. They are places where the different needs of the visually impaired and the mobility-impaired meet. The Kasseler Querungsbord® -System can help you to meet the needs of both.
Wherever height differences need to be overcome, the approx. 15 different kinds of kerbstone in combination with various dimpled, grooved, ridged and imbricated flagstones enable the safe design of crossings for all the mobility-restricted.
Profilbeton can cater for individual, unusual situations and application fields and find a solution that suits you. Different application examples can be found in the service area under ‘Downloads’.
